Imperium Detailerz Warranty Terms

Imperium Detailerz or its authorized agents warrant to the owner of the nominated vehicle that if the Ceramic Coating (Level-1, Level-2, Level-3 is unsatisfactory in its performance of protecting the vehicle’s factory paintwork from damage or etching from water spots, bird droppings, bug splatter, acid rain, industrial fall out or UV damage/ oxidation, whilst being maintained in accordance with the terms and conditions of this warranty, Imperium Detailerz or its authorized agents# will at no cost to the owner repair and retreat the affected area.

1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Warranty is only valid upon producing Invoice with receipt of Warranty Card with serial number, commencing from date of purchase or registration of serial number, for,.
Any application, re-application, repair work or other work carried out on the coated surface must be applied/reapplied or repaired by an authorized Imperium Detailerz agent.
Excludes vehicles registered either at present, or previously for commercial purposes.
Imperium Detailerz agents must be notified of any claim due to failure of product performance within 30 days of occurrence. Subsequent damage caused outside this period is excluded from any guarantees.
Vehicle must remain continuously registered within India for the duration of the warranty.
Warranty is not transferrable in case vehicle is sold to another person.
Warranty is valid for automotive two-stage clear coated body panels only. Imperium Detailerz is not compatible and not suitable for single stage and non clear coated finishes.
Vehicles over 1 months old must require a machine polish to be carried out by an approved applicator prior to application, newer vehicles may also require a machine polish if advised by the approved applicator.
Vehicles are covered for the duration specified in the package purchased, provided if annual service requirements are met. (See: Annual Inspection).

2. GENERAL LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

Imperium Detailerz or its authorized agents, will not accept liability for.

Deterioration of factory paintwork or repaint or any other treated part of substandard specification, materials or workmanship by vehicle manufacturers, their dealerships, third party suppliers or modifiers, or professional detailers not authorized by Imperium Detailerz.
Pre-existing damage or deterioration.
Any claim for matters which are covered by vehicle manufacturer’s warranty.
Damage caused by improper manual or automatic wash brushes, contaminated and/or abrasive cloths and sponges, untreated areas due to accident damage and/or their subsequent repairs, hard water spotting, rust water damage, loss of hydrophobic properties due to airborne contamination including paint overspray, damage caused by stone chips, factory or aftermarket clear coat failure, abrasion from leathers or other such materials, damages from the car wash at service dealerships or any paint correction done by them. Defects which may be covered under a manufacturers or dealerships protection plan
Damage caused due to not proper curing or washing for 7-10 days period, post Initial application.
Damage, either accidental or malicious, including but not limited to fire, flood, vandalism, extreme weather conditions and secondary effects that may result from the foregoing.

Any consequential loss including either incidental or indirect damages to arise from any claim under this warranty.
Waterspots – Waterspots are caused by hard water (mineral deposits) which are left to dry on the paint and leave a stain, water spotting is not covered
Swirl marks, marring, scratches, scuffs, scrapes, chips to the painted surface, area’s that have not been retreated after a paint repair.
Any loss of time or use of the vehicle while it undergoes inspections or treatments.
Matte Finishes & Matte Wraps.

3. GENERAL WARRANTY INVALIDATION

The Imperium Detailerz warranty for any product will be considered invalid if any of the following general conditions occur:

Neglect to maintain the vehicle according to the standards and techniques recommended.
Damage caused by abrasive compounds and polishes and third party products.
Failure to repair and re-treat surfaces subject to accident damage or requiring repair.
Failure to adhere to requirements listed under the terms and conditions of this warranty.
Damage caused by any alteration or modification to the vehicle surfaces;
Damage caused by manufacturer’s defects;
Damage to the vehicle prior to product application.

4. ANNUAL INSPECTION/ MAINTENANCE
Annual Inspections must be carried out by an approved applicator, within 30 days before or after the anniversary date of the last service to maintain the warranty, which must be booked by the customers.
Failure to undertake an annual inspection within the required period will change the period of cover to 1 Years from the date of the last service with annual inspections no longer required or deemed lapsed..
A fee of Rs. 1500/- or as determined by the approved applicator will be charged for the Annual Inspection which includes – Exterior Wash, Interior cleaning, Decontamination and Inspection.
Failure to undertake an annual service for Coating Level-2 and Level-3 within the required period
will change the period of cover to “1 Year” from the date of the last service, which cannot be reversed.
Once the 1 year has transpired the warranty will be terminated.
Failure to undertake an annual service for Level-1 within the required period will change the
period of cover to “6 Months” from the date of the last service, which cannot be reversed. Once the 6 Months have transpired the warranty will be terminated.
Annual Inspections would include waterless wash, light paint correction and maintenance coat top up, rest
services are chargeable as determined by the approved applicator.

5. PRODUCT WARRANTY INFORMATION

Level-1 EXTERIOR PAINT WARRANTY – is valid for one (1) years from the date of application
Level-2 EXTERIOR PAINT WARRANTY – is valid for three (3) years from the date of application.
Level-3 EXTERIOR PAINT WARRANTY – is valid for five (5) years from the date of application.
Accreditation product warranty should be claimed and mentioned at the accreditation webpage.

6. IMPERIUM DETAILERZ EXTENDED WARRANTY*¬ – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Valid for Level-2 and Level-3 products only.
Valid only for new vehicles treated within 12 months of initial application /registration.

Subject to an annual service and inspection by an authorized Imperium Detailerz agent, according to the requirements of the Imperium Detailerz Annual Care Plan within 30 days after warranty anniversary.

7. IMPERIUM DETAILERZ PRO EXTENDED LIFETIME WARRANTY* – ANNUAL CARE PLAN

The following information forms the minimum requirements for the Imperium Detailerz Annual Care Plan. Additional services are available at client request. Contact your Imperium Detailerz agent for pricing of Imperium Detailerz Annual Care Plan.

Full wash and dry
Comprehensive paint decontamination
Tyres dressed
Windows cleaned
Quick detail spray or spray sealant
Interior wipe down and vacuuming

8. CERAMIC COATING PRODUCT WARRANTY INFORMATION.

Level 3 warranty is valid for five (5) years from the date of application for any car that is 5 model years old or newer. Imperium Detailerz or its authorized agents warrants to the owner of the nominated vehicle that the treated surfaces will remain free of permanent stains and UV damage, except as otherwise noted in the warranty. Accredited brands of ceramic coating has warranty listed on their respective websites.

9. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
Imperium Detailerz or its authorized agents shall not accept liability for the following:

Deterioration of factory interior surfaces including but not limited to the carpeting, upholstery, leather, leather-like surfaces, any other interior surfaces or any other treated part of substandard specification, materials or workmanship by vehicle manufacturers, their dealerships, third-party suppliers or modifiers, or professional detailers not authorized by Imperium Detailerz;
Neglect to maintain the vehicle according to the standards and techniques recommended;
Damage to any interior surface prior to our application;
Damage caused by rips, tears, shredding;
Damage caused by alteration or modification of surfaces;
Damage caused by abrasive compounds and third party products; and
Damage caused by manufacturer’s defects.

10. MAKING A CLAIM
The following applies to making a claim for any product defects or failures:

Imperium Detailerz or its agents must be notified of any claim due to failure of product performance within 30 days of occurrence;
Any application, re-application, repair work or other work carried out on the coated surface must be applied/reapplied or repaired by an authorized Imperium Detailerz agent after claim approval from Imperium Detailerz.

11. WARRANTY LIMITS

In the event of a warranty claim, this warranty is subject to the following conditions and limited to the following maximum amounts at Imperium Detailerz’s option.

Imperium Detailerz or its agents shall arrange the necessary approvals for warranty repairs and coating reapplication to be carried out, or;
Refund the owner of the nominated vehicle the cost of coating application in full and final settlement of the customer’s claim under warranty;
Claim inspections may be subject to a servicing fee of Rs 1500 plus GST. Servicing fees are refundable with a valid warranty claim.
This warranty does not exclude any consumer guarantees applicable by law. Any dispute shall be governed by the law of India, and both parties irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Delhi, India.

12. IMPERIUM DETAILERZ AGENTS

Imperium Detailerz agents are selected using strict guidelines and requirements. Only authorized agents are permitted to install and service any Imperium Detailerz products. To locate your nearest authorized agent, please visit our website at www.imperiumdetailerz.com.

13. VEHICLE ACCIDENT DAMAGE
Contact your vehicle insurer to ensure your paint protection is included in your insurance cover package. If the vehicle sustains damage and reapplication is required, contact your Imperium Detailerz agent to arrange any additional treatments.

* Extended warranty- Depending upon the package taken it will be annually maintained by Imperium Detailerz or authorized agent to ensure long lasting of applied ceramic coating.

# Authorized agent – An independently owned and operated business / company that has been approved by Imperium Detailerz to apply and sell its products.

 

PPF WARRANTY TERMS

 

IMPERIUM DETAILERZ PPF WARRANTY

Imperium Detailerz warrant to the owner of the nominated vehicle that the Imperium Detailerz PPF will be free from manufacturing defects for up to 3-years (Level-1) for uncoated PPF and up to 5-years for coated PPF (Level-2) applied in conjunction with Ceramic Coating. Manufacturing defects include cracking, blistering and film de-lamination.

GENERAL LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

Imperium Detailerz will be solely responsible for determining validity of all claims and reserves the right to deny claims that do not meet the criteria outlined in section 1 of this warranty.

Excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear, road debris impacts, accidents and collisions, damage caused by manual or automatic wash brushes, high pressure cleaners, accidental or malicious damage including but not limited to fire, flood, vandalism, extreme weather conditions and secondary effects that may result from the foregoing, any consequential loss including either incidental or indirect damages that arise from any claim under this warranty.
Warranty is limited to replacement of defective film and labor by authorized Imperium Detailerz, PPF installer
assigned by Imperium Detailerz.

MAKING A CLAIM

In the event of a warranty claim, contact your authorized Imperium Detailerz PPF installer who performed the installation. A copy of your original receipt outlining your serial number and area coverage must be retained to process your claim. Film may be required to be removed and sent to the factory for testing to verify claims. For valid claims, an authorized Imperium Detailerz PPF installer will remove and reapply Imperium Detailerz PPF to areas determined to be covered by warranty.
